Pat Schou
Illinois Critial Access Hospital Network

Pat Schou is the new executive director of the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network and the coordinator of the Illinois CAH program. Pat has served at the critical access hospital program coordinator for the Illinois Department of Public Health’s Center for Rural Health since its conception in September 1999. In this role, Pat provided technical assistance to Illinois rural hospitals seeking critical access hospital certification and administered several rural hospital grants for the Department. Pat has over 25 years of clinical and hospital administrative experience in rural hospitals in Illinois. She serves on several state and national rural health care organizational boards.
