Deborah Seale has served as the Executive Director for Telehealth Networks & Programs at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois since September 2001. Prior to moving to Illinois, she led telehealth efforts at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Ms. Seale established the Center for Telehealth & Distance Education at UTMB and has been a leader in developing telehealth and distance education initiatives since 1993. She is an expert in building partnerships to support the adoption and utilization of telecommunications in health care for educational, clinical and administrative uses particularly in rural and underserved areas.
