Impacting Rural Health and Health Professions Education Through Videoconferencing Technology

This presentation will showcase innovative ways that videoconferencing technology can be used to impact healthcare in rural Illinois communities. The workshop will also highlight the use of video conferencing to deliver curriculum to health professions students at their clinic sites. An emphasis will be placed on videoconferencing success stories and will show how video conferencing to rural Illinois not only saves time and money, but enhances the learning experience for rural health professionals and students.
