Mr. King is Executive Director of Public Benefit Broadband, Inc. (PBB) and functions as lead Project/Program Manager for all activities of the business. As the program creator and founder of the PPP strategy, Mr. King works directly with community and municipal leaders in developing broadband communication strategies around a community-based model that looks to establish “local business enterprises” that are focused upon economic development, job creation and revenue enhancement for local jurisdictions.

Recent assignments and PPP initiatives include:

• The Pennsylvania Broadband Consortium, a pilot project recently completed through funding by federal, state and local investments.
• In Fresno County California a pilot project for the California Broadband Consortium Program is underway;
• Numerous PPP projects are progressing through various development stages, see www.pbbroadband.org for much more.

Mr. King coordinates all “private partner” development activities, working with applicable communication vendors and providers of telecommunication equipment and services that the PPP program looks to support. Considered a serial entrepreneur, Mr. King has developed, launched and participated in over a dozen start-up, merger/recapitalizations and acquisitions in the real estate, energy and telecommunication fields over a 27 year career. From this experience invaluable lessons have been learned that has helped to define and uncovered those directions that work and those that do not.
