Sharon Taylor Alpi

Sharon Taylor Alpi is a member of the Tabor School of Business faculty at Millikin University and serves as the Director of the Tabor Center for Entrepreneurship. In 2002, Sharon led the initiative to create a community venture capital firm, InDecatur Ventures, LLC. She teaches the senior seminar for the entrepreneurship curriculum and was one of three Millikin professors to start the Art of Entrepreneurship program at Millikin. In 2003, Sharon was recognized for teaching with Millikin’s Teaching Excellence and Campus Leadership Award. In 2001, she received the Governor of Illinois’ Small Business Award for Women in Business Advocate of the Year. In September of this year, Sharon was named a Coleman Foundation Professor in Entrepreneurship.
