Brandon Bowersox

Brandon is an Urbana native with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Illinois. He is co-owner of a technology business in downtown Urbana. Brandon has participated in Champaign County’s Long Range Transportation Plan, Urbana’s Comprehensive Plan Update, Urbana’s Downtown Strategic Plan, the MTD Alternatives Analysis, and the High Cross Road Corridor Study, among others.

Brandon co-founded a non-profit computer learning center in downtown Urbana, and helped to create an after-school Tech Club for grade school children. Brandon organized a tour of locally-owned, environmentally and socially responsible businesses throughout Champaign-Urbana. Brandon is secretary of the Champaign County Democratic Party. He was elected to the Urbana City Council April 5, 2005.
